This application proved to be an invaluable tool during my trip to Japan.

The NFC Reader app enhances the experience of using Japan's transportation smart cards. It allows travelers to conveniently check their card balance directly from their smartphones. The app supports popular transportation cards such as Suica, PASMO, and ICOCA, displaying up to 20 recent transactions along with the balance.

Usage Instructions: To utilize the app, simply place your NFC-enabled card on the back of your smartphone after ensuring that NFC functionality is activated. After a brief pause following the vibration alert, you can view your balance and transaction details. If the reader function fails to activate with the card in place, adjusting its position slightly may resolve the issue. Additionally, please ensure that sleep mode is disabled on your device for optimal performance.

Supported Transportation Cards: This app accommodates several transportation cards including Suica, PASMO, ICOCA, Toika, SUGOCA, Kitaka, Hayakken, and Nimoka among others.

It is important to note that transaction details are intended for reference purposes only, and the maximum transaction history displayed is limited to 20 entries. Additionally, Suica is a registered trademark of East Japan Railway Company.
